All about the Wedding's
The W word - Wedding, and what a wonderful word that is.
I love working on weddings. The love, the excitement, the trepidation is all so infectious and I can't help but get caught up in the emotion of it all.
Having been a bride myself, I know how important it is to enjoy the build up as well as the day itself, so rest assured, I'll be by your side to support you in the lead-up (sometimes you just want to ask a question to those who've been in your shoes!) and of course, on the big day itself where I'll be discreet and on-hand to capture the emotion between you and your other half without you even knowing I'm watching you.
Fleeting glances, sneaky kisses and holding hands - they're all moments to sum up your relationship and your big day and yet I don't need to take you away from the party to get those moments on film. Personally, I don't like to spend a great deal of time on staged photographs - yes, it's important we get some with the specific family members (which we'll agree from the outset) - but I get most excited about capturing you as a couple, in your natural habitat - surrounded by your loved ones, fully immersed in your newlywed bubble!
I'm sure there's been a great deal of thought (and dreaming!) gone into your big day and I will make sure that every inch of detail is captured so you can document the whole day - flowers, shoes, jewellery, morning notes to your soon-to-be spouse - all the little bits that together make something wonderful.
I know that no two weddings are the same so all my packages are bespoke but typically, my day would start early with the bride and her bridesmaids snapping the fun, fizz and giddiness of getting ready. If local enough, I can also get some of the groom and his groomsmen getting ready too (from expereince, it's generally confused faces as they're faced with tying a cravat). Naturally, that leads into the ceremony, speeches, cake cutting and of course, time for the official photos. I'm also no stranger to the dancefloor so if you're the party animal type, we can agree a finish time that suits you.
What happens when the dust settles and the hangovers kick in? I love a sneak-peak at the images just as much as you so you can expect to recieve a few teaser images within 48hours after the big day. A little something to whet your appetite, share with family and friends and most likely update your profile pic if you're the social media type.
It's usually an 8-week turn around time for getting all the final images back to you (dependent on availability, high season is more likely 12 weeks) - beautifully delivered in one of my presentation boxes. You'll be given all images on USB which will include a slideshow to music and individual images in high resolution suitable for printing. Should you choose to, I can also work with you to create your favourite images into an album.
Package 1 £1395 is ceremony until after first dance.
Package 2 £1595 is bridal prep until after first dance.
