"Sometimes you'll never know the true value of a moment until it becomes a memory"

- Dr Suess

It was this belief of Dr Suess', together with starting my own family, that first inspired me to pick up my camera what feels like too many moons ago now.

My approach to photography is to capture, quite simply, life as we each know it. The obligatory special occasions in our lives, such as weddings, christenings and births naturally make me smile from ear to ear, but also the everyday moments we often take for granted; a walk in the park to feed the ducks or a trip to the coast for fish, chips and ice-cream. I believe they are all moments that equally deserve to be remembered.

If I were to be asked to sum up my style, I'd say I was a professional 'lifestyle' photographer meaning I capture real people in real events to document their real life. So as you'd imagine, I just love people and like to think of myself as a friend to many. The type of friend who's great with a camera and who's in the right place at the right time capturing the stuff you otherwise wouldn't have noticed! You know the type, they're generally the ones who's never off instagram. That's me too...

'Home' for me is the North East but am lucky enough to work with couples and families across the country (and I have a over used passport so I'm open to international enquiries too!). Lucky enough to be within driving distance to both the countryside and the coast, I love spending my 'family time' and 'work time' by popping on my walking boots, grabbing my camera bag and heading for the great outdoors.

They say that 'a picture is worth a thousand words' so let me help you write your story.
